I was catching up on email tonight and came across something from last Friday. I totally forgot that during the day I was able to break Yahoo Answers doing a "simple" search. I have a screen shot of the result of my search but blocked out the search that I was doing. The search had a "-" in it I do recall, but cant recall much else. I wish that...
Post from: Daver's Blog

I Confused Yahoo Answers

I cant say that I do that many searches for tennis scores or players but I did one tonight. Im sitting here (still am watching and Federer is about to win) watching Federer play and wondered how he has been doing as of late. So I type in Federer into Google and what do I find but the score of the match I happen to be watching! The curious person...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Tennis Scores on Google

Im not sure why I happen to jump over to look at Site Explorer at 2AM on a Sunday, but I did. I found quite a bit more than I had expected. It seems that sometime in the past few days Yahoo went and updated the look of the results for Site Explorer. As you can see from the image below and from the actual results, I learned that Yahoo...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Yahoo's Site Explorer gets a new look

I constantly sign-up for Betas and Alphas and usually Im let down. I know that its a Beta/Alpha but I just dont see a use for many of the products I look at. Times when I do see promise, they are so far from being scalable and full featured that I simply move on to the next "great" thing. Im not sure where Evri.com fits with my past Beta looks...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Evri Review

I have been into photography for a few years and just recently have gotten into video. As I have jumped into video, I have been on the look out for some clean, simple, and fast video editing software. My search for the software lead me to a few searches tonight on google.com with some odd results appearing. What I saw was seen while I was logged in and not logged...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Google Changes Paid Ads in March

I was doing some testing and research on MSN this morning and saw something unusual. It seems that in the past few days a new listing type has appeared within the SERPs. For the example below I have added the City name but even if you do it without it does a very good job and finding locations just down the street. What I found interesting about the "Local" results...
Post from: Daver's Blog

MSN Local Listings Updated
