Power of Twitter – Companies Respond

So today as always I was following news from SEL, SERoundtable, and the various chatter that goes on within Twitter when I watched something interesting. There are often many interesting conversations that take place ranging from personal, to rants, arguments, theories, what people ate, where people are shopping and so on. This was one of the first times I have seen someone suggest something and get action taken by a web site or company.

Scott Clark had suggested something for Linkedin that would make his life easier - or was just venting - which one I am unsure of.

Shortly after there was a response from Lee Odden.

Then some time passed and what do you know: Scott had some good news. It seems that someone that works at Linkedin contacted Scott to assist him and upon review was going to make a change to the site. Now how is that for service?

Linkedin Responds

I will admit that I never thought I would see this in Twitter but it does make sense. With so many people talking in an open way, others are allowed to read, respond and react.

Today Linkedin got some free advice and did all three.
