I have a screen shot of the result of my search but blocked out the search that I was doing. The search had a "-" in it I do recall, but cant recall much else. I wish that...
Post from: Daver's Blog

I Confused Yahoo Answers

Back in March I was able to watch the Winter Music Conference shake its groove thing at night thanks to Yahoo Live. It seems that Y! Live will be shutting down on December 3, 2008. Earlier this week I read about Revver having financial issues, but the Founder answered the rumor and stated that they were simply migrating to a different and better provider. I personally dont believe him, but...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Yahoo Live Shutting Down

Im not sure why I happen to jump over to look at Site Explorer at 2AM on a Sunday, but I did. I found quite a bit more than I had expected. It seems that sometime in the past few days Yahoo went and updated the look of the results for Site Explorer. As you can see from the image below and from the actual results, I learned that Yahoo...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Yahoo's Site Explorer gets a new look

Welcome to another week of links. I have been sick the past few days and havent been on Twitter. I spent part of the weekend visiting a Dr. - always fun. So this weeks list of links is a weee bit shorter than previous versions. It still has a load of great finds and it seems I owe a shout out to Sugarrae and Dogballs as they were dropping all...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Twitter Link Find V16

So I was reading on Twitter some and a tweet from Yahoo Live came through - it was for the WMC. No way? The conference I want to go to every year but always fail to plan for? Yes, that conference. Who wouldnt want to go? Miami in March? Have you looked outside? Chicago just got more snow tonight. *shakes head in shame* So what is Yahoo Live have to...
Post from: Daver's Blog

Winter Music Conference is Live on Yahoo

I got the idea for this post after reading how Drug dealers and software developers were similar. As I do come from a web developer background - I found it quite amusing (and quite sad at the end) and wondered if I could do the same for Social Media. Below is my feeble attempt to compare High School and Social Networks - enjoy.
